Why not introduce your children to the world of rescue doggies with this wonderful little book? They will love "JJ The American Street Dog", a Mom's Choice Award Winner!
Diane Rose-Solomon, a Certified Humane Education Specialist, rescued the real JJ seventeen years ago. "JJ The American Street Dog" is her first book and the first in a series of four books currently in the works.
Maya has wanted a doggie for as long as she can remember, and just when her parents decide to buy her one, her Uncle Jerry finds a homeless puppy that he can't keep. Although Mom is somewhat skeptical about keeping a dog from the street, she agrees to take in the pup and they name him JJ. Before long, little JJ warms his way into their hearts, and Maya and her family learn about homeless animals and how looking after them can play a big role in ending pet over-population.
Ms. Rose-Solomon lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two children, and two rescue doggies, Gonzo and Ninja.
